Two street performances made in Almaty Zoo tributing to two famous figures in European history.

1. Homage to Francis of Assisi was about giving a politically engaged sermon to the Zoo’s birds of prey, in front of cage with the golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos). Golden eagle is an official symbol of Kazakhstan republic.

2. Homage to Diogenes of Sinope was a reenactment of the most famous and provocative street performance by ancient Greek cynic artist known as “Looking for a human”.
